In 2015, we opened our Charleston boutique. We were welcomed with open arms by those who already knew us and had been clamoring for the arrival of our world of enchanting hand block prints. Most importantly, we were warmly received by those who were meeting us for the first time. Only one year has passed, but we already feel like a part of Charleston, and Charleston is definitely a part of us. On our one year anniversary, we want to honor the city, our customers and the southern charm that has enthralled us all at Roberta Roller Rabbit.
This is why, when we got an email from one of our Charleston customers, Elisabeth Hunter, telling us the story of George, her four year old son, who’d been born with a congenital heart defect and before the age of three had undergone three open heart operations at Boston Children’s Hospital, asking for our cooperation in helping her raise funds for this cause… we said, “yes, absolutely yes!” During our anniversary event we will be joining arms with Elisabeth to give back to those who have helped George. We will be donating 15% of all sales to the Ethan Lindberg Foundation. The Foundation supports families of children being treated for congenital heart diseases by helping with housing during lengthy hospital stays, supporting care initiatives, and promoting music therapy.
