Simple Joys of Summer

I woke up this morning and am so excited for summer.  It makes me want to...

Hang a basket of flowers from my porch.

White wash my floors and redecorate in all Shabby Chic.

Snap some peas.

Tackle just one junk drawer.

Dust off the grill and blacken some corn on the cobb.

Plant something and make a vow to not let it die.

Drive by an estate sale and actually stop.

Have friends over for some summer wine outback.

Be happy.

Be content.

Bask in those extra hours of sunlight.
