Wii Geek

Wednesday, May, 21, 2008

I admit it....I’m a Wii geek!  I’m one of those people who had feelers out all over town to get my Wii when it first came out (my mom ended up finding me one in North Carolina and shipping it to me), then I was on the hunt for extra remotes, then onto Raving Rabbids which kept me hooked for months.  If you haven’t played this one you have got to try it (oh..and Rabbids2!).

So I have to admit I was at Target this morning at 8am to get my Wii Fit.  Which means no one will see me outside of work the rest of the week!  I am dying to get home and try it out!  Here’s a video just in case you don’t know what I’m talking about:

I am giving myself props for not being a total geekazoid though.....I did come to work today :)

I've never tried Wii. I have to admit, I have no idea what the fuss is about. But after watching the YouTube video you posted, I'd definitely be up for WiiFit. It looks like it's fun and addicting!

I don't have a Wii because my husband is saving for a stupid PS3. However, my cousin/BFF owns one and thanks to her I went through a Raving Rabbits phase as well. Currently I'm hooked on Guitar Hero. Today she told me she's getting Wii Fit so I'm sure that will be my next addiction. Nice to find a virtual Wii buddy! writeous babe

Angelia split at 5:30 p.m. on the dot today. (The first time, I've ever seen it! Normally we have to kick her out.) The power of the Wii is just too great. I'm completely jealous and kind of hope you're sore tomorrow. LOL! :P

I WANT ONE!!!!! It's kinda lonely lookin', though that's a small price to pay for not having to worry about what my ass looks like in gym pants, or finding a shirt to cover my kid sack.

Well your co-worker Pup, searched for hours on two separate occasions and then stood in line for an hour Sunday morning at Best Buy to get his Wii fix. This month it's Mario Kart. Don't forget the extra wheels! Who knew it would be so hard to learn to drive! Brought to you by a Lipstick Librarian.

I love the idea of the Wii Fit, but it cracked me up to look at the background scenes of serenity in which every family or individual on that video was living. If I was doing the Wii, I'd have socks hanging off the light fixtures and stacks of clothes careening off every surface. My mom visited last month and the same pile of laundry is still perched on my ottoman in the living room! Honest! And forget my hair being combed up in a tidy bun or being out of yesterday's pjs...
