Introductions are in order

Welcome to my blog. Come on in and look around. If I could offer you a seat and a glass of sweet tea I would.

Allow me to introduce myself. I'm an arts and entertainment journalist, freelance fitness writer, columnist, wannabe poet and a wife. Whew!

I maintain a blog for the publication for which I work full time, but here at skirt! I want to really let my hair down. Don’t worry. I plan to offer readers more than my ranting, raving and rambling (although there will be plenty of that). I also want to spark important discussions, introduce you to fierce and fabulous women and even share a little poetry. I hope you’ll stick around to see what’s in store.
