EASY button

 I think my EASY button is broken.  I ran out of ink in my printer pushed the EASY button, just like they do on the television and nothing!  No commercials, no new ink – just silence.  So I think perhaps the easy button doesn’t work with my printer. 

I take the EASY button in the kitchen and place it by the oven and give it a push.  I wait for the oven to become sparkling clean again.  I open the door and it’s still dirty and disgusting.  I carry the EASY button to the newspaper and open it to the appliance ads and give the button a good healthy push.  No new appliance appear in my kitchen. 

Well, it’s quite possible it works with dirty laundry.  I carry the EASY button to the garage.  I’m not lucky enough to have a real ‘laundry room.’  I share my area with the dog, two bikes, a bench saw, a cooler on wheels, a mini fridge and boxes of STUFF.  There is no room for the car in our garage.  I click the button and the laundry basket falls over. 

Oh yes, my EASY button is finally working.  Yahoo!!!  I watch as the green towel moves slowly across the garage floor away from the washing machine.  What’s this?  I reach down and snatch up the towel and old puss runs for her life.

Have I been fooled all this time about the EASY button?  Is it just a gimmick?  Why am I so gullible?
