Notebooks? Check. Blogging materials? Double check. Suitcase? Eeeeeeek!
What on earth does one wear on a road trip across the South with the end being NOLA for a total V-gasm of adventure????
Jeans? I guess. Flowy dresses? Sure. Do I need to do some last-minute, pre-road trip shopping?

I'd pack:
1) my trusty wrap-dress (I think it's made out of polyester jersey so it travels like butter) and my tall black boots for my "I am woman, hear my roar" outfit. It's perfect because it doesn't require ironing and if you forget to shave your legs, you're still ok;
2) lots of visine as you might not be getting that much sleep and everyone looks better with bright eyes; and,
3) my power cord for my laptop! I just went on vacay for a week and forgot mine! eeeeks! (now I own two:)
