Although I live in a city chock-full of amazing stores and boutiques, I am addicted to online shopping. I buy my books from Amazon, health and personal items from Drugstore.com, shoes from Zappos.com, and dozens of other sites at least once a week.

There’s something about getting packages in the mail on a regular basis that can make a normal day feel like Christmas (even if the package contains Nicorette gum and Q-tips). My most recent online acquisition is a pair of purple Steve Madden boots (pictured) that I wasn’t able to find locally but I HAD to have them. I might have worn them in high school, so I imagine that they will make me look like I’m 16 again. Or at least feel like I’m 16 again!

It's like Christmas every day

I treat myself to some lovely bath and body products - hand milled cold process soaps - from my fellow sellers on etsy.com. It's SO much fun to get the package, rip it open and find a beautiful bar of soap with a cute little ribbon on it. I think the anticipation of checking the mailbox every day and then finally seeing it there is half the fun! Heaven for a few dollars. :) ---------------------------- http://alorinna.blogspot.com
