McCain's Woman

Geez, I had barely pushed the final button on the post below when my mother e-mailed me the news that John McCain had chosen a woman as his running mate.

And you know what? I’m not that surprised – it’s the only move he could have possibly made to stay in the game. I haven’t had any time do any deep research yet, but some bloggers are saying she’s a ridiculously inexperienced choice with no foreign policy skills and others think the “smart and scrappy” style of this mother of five will sway those who really, really want to see a woman in the White House no matter what. 

All I know is that things are getting really interesting...
